A couple of years ago I got to work with this lovely little family when Dashiell turned one…so I was really excited to get a call to say that baby #2 had come along and that they would like some one year photos of him as well. I’ve been amazed by the long fall we’ve been having and soaking up the fact that we could be outside on a November evening without even a jacket on…Fall is my favorite. Here’s a preview of Tristan’s photo shoot:
We had to do a couple of brother shots, I couldn’t believe how Dash had grown! It is always so much fun to continue to see these families grow over the years…one of the best parts of my job.

so many adorable hats! After leaving this shoot I was more optimistic about the cuteness available in baby boys’ clothing…I had always thought girl things were so much cuter, now I’m not so sure.

Of course, we had to do a smash cake! Its tradition now. Tristan wasn’t so sure about it though, I don’t think he really wanted to get messy…

What a cutie.
Happy First Birthday Tristan!! I hope I’ll get to see you and Dash more as the years go by
Tristan’s turning one!
Introducing :: Parker Gregory
This precious little guy is Parker Gregory, not yet two weeks old! Tyler and Ruth have asked Jamie and I to be Parker’s godparents, so it was even more special to meet him for the first time. Of course, I couldn’t pass up the chance to take a few snaps of my brand new godson…could I?!
Oh my goodness…I just can’t get enough!
So sleepy : )

Those lips…

Tyler and Ruth! Come here and bring Parker…I miss him already. Can’t wait to see you all again in a month : )
Chicago Infant Portrait :: Elaina Kaye

Elaina is so cute that it almost HURTS me to look at these pictures! When I was going through them last night I could not get over just how adorable this baby is.
Elaina is 8 weeks old and is the daughter of my friends Ben and Jodi. Jodi came to Chicago for meetings and brought Elaina along so I had the pleasure of watching her for an entire day. Its funny how spending one day with a baby can make you rethink things…maybe I AM ready for a baby?! Maybe we SHOULD have one soon?!
NO. In the light of this new day, I realize that I was tricked by the cute-ness of that baby…
but who could help that?!
Also, I would like to mention that it is snowing in Chicago. Yes, snow. It is SO sad to look out the window and see this! Last week I wore flats for the first time in months, with NO socks. Looks like today we’re back to the boots and wool socks. I can’t wait for real spring!
